Your Tutorial To Ace An Under 10-Minute Soft Glam Beauty Look

The ideal bridal look is one that strikes the perfect balance—a wedding lehenga in a blush tone teamed with dramatic makeup. And if you’re wearing a show-stopping outfit like a crystal embellished gown, minimal makeup might be the way to go. But by no means do we mean boring when we say minimal. Think glam without glitz. London-based makeup artist and educator, Vithya Visvendra has nailed the soft glam look, which creates quite the impact, but feels lighter, airier and ethereal.

Vithya of Vithya Hair and Makeup has worked with several celebrities including Prasanna & Sneha, Meena and Amy Jackson. Her makeup mantra is simple, she shares, “I try to set myself apart by trying to create something natural. Skin looking like skin is important to me,” she tells us.

The Expert’s Step-By-Step Guide
(1) For a radiant skin, start with applying the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation using an oval brush from MAC Cosmetics. Vithya chose the shade Aruba.
(2) Top it off with Too Faced Born This Way concealer in Sand and Pearl using a beauty blender to cover the shadows.
(3) Softly sweep Nudestix All Over in Bondi Bae on the bridges of the nose and under the chin. Follow it up with Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in 7.25 in the middle of the cheeks for a slight, natural looking lift. Buff it all into the skin.
(4) To set it all in, use One Size Ultimate Setting Powder. Using beauty blender bake it under the eyes and T zone areas.
(5) Apply Tarte Amazonian Clay Cheek Wardrobe in Getting' Toasty along with I'm Smitten shade over the contouring to add some more definition.
(6) Comb through the brows using the spully in ABH Brow Wiz in Chocolate to fill any gaps and sparse areas in the brows and define their shape. Vithya suggests starting from the bottom.
(7) Nudestix Magnetic Luminous Eye Colour in Immortal, Vithya reveals, is one of her favourite eye makeup products. Generously infuse the brown colour all over the eyelids before gently diffusing it with fingers. Apply the eye pencil on the lower lash line. Use a similar chocolate shade from Pat McGrath Mothership Palette to set it in with a fluffy brush.
(8) Finish the eye makeup with Pat McGrath Dark Star Mascara.
(9) Apply Nars Air Matte Lip Colour in Joy Ride for transferring a cushiony, air-kissed pink pigment on the lips.
(10) Lastly, darken the bubblegum pink colour using Beauty by Kay Lip Liner in Hype.
