Tucked away but not isolated from the cultural attractions of the islands, the Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a romantic adults-only property. If you are going to search this location on map, we recommend switching to satellite mode that will help justify the excitement around it. The hotel is the first of its kind, designed especially for romantic getaways with curated spaces exclusively for couples. A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, it has been voted as the Indian Ocean’s Leading Boutique Hotel at the World Travel Awards 2019. And you can expect this property to live up to its hype in everything, from service standards to its interior design. The large size of the property promises a range of both indoor and outdoor relaxing spaces.

First Look
On your first walk around Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel, you will catch a glimpse of their 100 plus sunbeds, several swing beds and the gorgeous sandy path adorned with thoroughly maintained gardens. These gardens are particularly unique and inspired by a Mauritian plantation home modernised with a Mauritian iced tea station and an all-day rum bar. You can find Instagrammable corners decorated with Toucan patterned wallpapers and gorgeous floral mandalas here.

The cliff-top, infinity pool is perfectly placed to look over the blue waters of the northern islands. You can indulge in many ‘You & Me’ activities in and around Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel. Talk a walk down the beach, laze on the beds in thatched huts, grab a cocktail or go a little further to catch a glimpse of Le Château de Labourdonnais. The Pamplemousses botanical garden and L’Aventure du Sucre, too, are less than five kilometres away. Hope onto the Catamaran cruise to Coin de Mire, Gabriel and Flat Island to explore the gorgeous spaces around the hotel. You can also make use of the two tennis courts, the fitness centre and yoga on the lawn by the bay beach. One of the most photographic sites in Mauritius, Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice de Cap Malheureux is located at a short distance of a 12-minute walk or a minute drive from the hotel, while the bustling town of Trou aux Biches is close by too.

The Stays
There are 75 rooms and suites available to choose from, each designed with plush white, rustic furniture, four-poster bed frames draped with soft muslin and scenic balconies. The boutique hotel brings in touches of modern living with movement sensors and a television that controls all necessary functions. This romantic abode features rainforest shower heads, detached bathtubs particularly in the Junior Suites. The Senior Suites, featuring antique decor, are the jewel in the crown.

The Eateries
When you choose a deluxe hotel like Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel, the food served at their restaurants is expected to match their high standards. And the property serves nothing less than only the grandest menus at all of its four restaurants. The Dining Room, the main restaurant here, is famously known for excelling the fusion Mauritian cuisine. The newsworthy wine cellar and stunning terrace tables are one to indulge into. The Cove, XO and Peninsula restaurants offer a range of seafood menus.

The Spa
The dose of tranquillity is further enhanced with the renowned Cinq Mondes Spa located amidst coconut palms and tropical flower plants. Dive into the serene spa pool surrounded by open hut-like treatment rooms. Couples can book in for the couple massage rooms attached to either an outdoor shower or bathtubs for two. Wander around the spa to find a number of relaxation spots, a steam room and even a hair salon.

The to-do lists
For the adventurous couples, a stroll up to the dock of the boathouse will lead to outdoor activities such as windsurfing, snorkelling, paddle-boarding, kayaking and sailing. Inclusive glass-bottom boat trips and submarine safaris are just a few of their various activities.
