Bhavisha Patel married Inderpal Panesar on 8th July 2018. She says: “The proposal was magical. Inde had secretly planned it all; a treasure hunt that ended in Barcelona. After just over five years together, I knew Inde was The One. Once we got home, we began planning our day.
The first thing we booked was our venue, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Knutsford, Cheshire. We loved the pretty setting and that it could handle our 300-strong guest list. When it came to the look of the wedding, we just wanted something clean and elegant. The wedding day was very emotional. I stayed strong all morning and managed not to cry, but when we first saw each other and he started tearing up, it set me off too! It was an amazing feeling when we were officially wed, knowing we had done it. We’ve been on cloud nine ever since!”
Decor and Theme
“We had a Hindu ceremony in the morning with gold Chiavari chairs, white flowers, and a gold-mirrored mandap. We continued the colour theme at the reception with the top table decorated with beautiful white flowers, a gold mirrored dance floor and white and gold centrepieces. The logo we created for our invite seals were used throughout the wedding, on the cake, dance floor and some centrepieces.”

“There are so many to choose from! From start to finish, the whole day was just perfect. There’s no feeling more incredible than being in a room, surrounded by all the people you love most, marrying your soul mate.”

“We loved Bhavna’s portfolio. She’s a lovely person who’s relaxed outlook made us feel at ease too. She’s done weddings at The Mere before and worked with many of our suppliers, which helped on the day. She surprised us at the reception with a preview of pictures of the morning, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch.“
